Ray, AKA Beach Bum
We bought Ray at this sale last October and have used him consistently since then. He’s been on dozens and dozens of trail rides at our ranch near Moab, and also spent part of the winter with us in Wickenburg, Arizona riding trails.
Ray is a very calm horse, probably best suited for family use from youth to adults. He is more of a walk-trot horse than a gamer, largely due to his breeding as a halter horse. He is very friendly and has a lot of heart.
Due to a downturn in the tourist economy in Moab, we no longer need all the horses we have. We are confident this horse will make a nice addition to a family or rider looking for a quiet boy that is accustomed to sights and sounds, various terrain, and a calm, slow ride. Ray is a registered Quarter Horse, with the registered name of Beach Bum. He is a 2006 model, which makes him 17. He had his teeth floated three months ago, and has recently been wormed. He is currently on a regimen of grass hay. He is fully shod.

She is 100 percent sound and sells with a current coggins and health certificate. This is my go to mare for EVERYTHING. She is a trail horse deluxe ! If I have a beginner out to ride she is the one they get . However if you know what you’re doing and ask her to work this mare will give you her all and go all day. She is a seasoned heel horse and will pasture rope all day. There’s nothing I wouldn’t use this mare for .
